It’s nearly mid spring and just looking at these Gerberas makes me look forward to Summer. Due to the random spells of cold, wet, windy weather coupled with days of intense sunshine, they aren’t looking their best. But if these early blooms are a sign of things to come then what a summer it will be.

This plant used to be affected by powdery mildew. I didn’t do anything special to them except being diligent in picking off dead leaves and ones that were affected by the disease. I fertilised them with Dynamic Lifter and a good sprinkle of Potash which in my mind has helped keep the powdery mildew at bay.
